Begin3 Title: A really simple failsave init extension Version: 1.31 Entered-date: 14Jan1998 Description: This is an init-before-the-init to spawn an emergency shell in case something got mixed up in /etc/inittab or /etc/rc, you have trouble with shared libraries crashing /sbin/init or you sometimes want a 'quick shell' right after booting before init comes up. This version now accomodates for lazy sysops who forget a "fail lock" on LILO's command line on unattended systems. You should install sash too, see ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/shells/sash.tar.gz Keywords: init, boot, emergency shell Author: tino@augsburg.net (Valentin Hilbig) Primary-site: sunsite.unc.edu /pub/Linux/system/daemons/init/ 891 failinit-1.31.lsm 6258 failinit-1.31.tar.gz Platforms: Linux Copying-policy: GNU GPL V2 or above.
