PER PROGRAMMI SOFTWARE CANON O DEI RELATIVI CONCESSORI DI LICENZA

IMPORTANTE

Il presente documento è un accordo legale ("Accordo") tra l'utente e 
Canon Inc. ("Canon") che consente di regolare l'utilizzo dei programmi 
software di Canon o dei relativi concessori di licenza incorporati in questo 
prodotto "Canon UFR II/UFR II LT Printer Driver for Linux v1.80" ("Prodotto"), 
elencati nel Prospetto 1 dell'Exhibit allegato a questo documento.  
Tali programmi software di Canon o dei relativi concessori di licenza verranno 
indicati con il termine "Software."

LEGGERE ATTENTAMENTE TUTTE LE CLAUSOLE DI QUESTO ACCORDO PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE 
IL SOFTWARE.

UTILIZZANDO IL SOFTWARE COME DESCRITTO NELLA SEZIONE 1 SEGUENTE, L'UTENTE 
ACCETTA DI ESSERE VINCOLATO DAI TERMINI E DALLE CONDIZIONI DEL PRESENTE 
ACCORDO.  SE L'UTENTE NON ACCETTA I TERMINI E LE CONDIZIONI DEL PRESENTE 
ACCORDO, NON DEVE UTILIZZARE IL SOFTWARE MA RESTITUIRLO IMMEDIATAMENTE AL 
PUNTO PRESSO CUI È STATO ACQUISTATO.


1. CONCESSIONE DI LICENZA

Canon concede una licenza personale, limitata e non esclusiva di utilizzo 
(il termine "utilizzo" impiegato in questo accordo include la memorizzazione, 
il caricamento, l'installazione, l'accesso, l'esecuzione o la visualizzazione),
 copia, distribuzione e concessione a terze parti di utilizzare e copiare 
esclusivamente il Software contenuto nel Prodotto.  È consentito modificare il 
Software esclusivamente per il proprio utilizzo e decodificarlo a scopo di 
debug.  L'utente dovrà distribuire il Software a terze pari con gli stessi 
termini e condizioni contenute in questo documento.

2. RESTRIZIONI

Ad eccezione di quanto espressamente concesso o permesso nel presente 
documento, non è consentito utilizzare, assegnare, concedere in sublicenza, 
vendere, noleggiare, prestare, trasportare o trasferire a terzi il Software.

3. INFORMAZIONI SUL COPYRIGHT

È vietato modificare, eliminare o cancellare qualsiasi informazione sul 
copyright di Canon o dei suoi licenziatari contenuta nel Software, 
ivi comprese le eventuali copie.

4. TITOLARITÀ

Canon e i suoi licenziatari mantengono in ogni caso i diritti sul titolo, 
sulla proprietà e sulla proprietà intellettuale relativi al Software.  
Fatti salvi i casi espressamente indicati in questo accordo, Canon non concede 
o accorda all'utente nessuna licenza o diritto, esplicito o implicito, 
relativi alla proprietà intellettuale di Canon e dei suoi licenziatari.

5. RESTRIZIONI ALL'ESPORTAZIONE

L'utente accetta di rispettare tutte le leggi, le limitazioni e le norme 
sull'esportazione del paese interessato, e di non esportare o riesportare, 
direttamente o indirettamente, il Software se ciò comporta la violazione delle 
suddette leggi, limitazioni e norme, o senza aver ottenuto tutti i permessi 
necessari.

6. NESSUNA GARANZIA NÉ ESCLUSIONE DI RESPONSABILITÀ DI INDENNITÀ

IL SOFTWARE VIENE FORNITO "COSÌ COM'È" SENZA GARANZIE DI ALCUN GENERE, 
ESPRESSE O IMPLICITE, COMPRESE, IN VIA ESEMPLIFICATIVA, LE GARANZIE DI 
COMMERCIABILITÀ E IDONEITÀ PER UNO SCOPO PARTICOLARE.  L'UTENTE SI ASSUME 
TUTTI I RISCHI RELATIVI ALLA QUALITÀ, AL FUNZIONAMENTO E ALLE PRESTAZIONI DEL 
SOFTWARE.  SE IL SOFTWARE DOVESSE RISULTARE DIFETTOSO, TUTTI I COSTI DI 
MANUTENZIONE, RIPARAZIONE O CORREZIONE NECESSARIE SONO A CARICO DELL'UTENTE.

IN NESSUN CASO CANON, FILIALI O SOCIETÀ AFFILIATE, DISTRIBUTORI, FORNITORI O 
CONCESSORI DI LICENZA DI CANON SARANNO RITENUTI RESPONSABILI DI EVENTUALI 
DANNI DI ALCUN GENERE (COMPRESI, SENZA LIMITAZIONI, DANNI PER MANCATO 
GUADAGNO, PERDITA DI INFORMAZIONI AZIENDALI, INTERRUZIONE DELL'ATTIVITÀ O 
ALTRI DANNI COMPENSATIVI, INCIDENTALI O CONSEQUENZIALI) RELATIVI AL SOFTWARE, 
ALL'UTILIZZO O ALL'IMPOSSIBILITÀ DI UTILIZZARE IL SOFTWARE ANCHE QUALORA 
CANON, FILIALI, SOCIETÀ AFFILIATE, DISTRIBUTORI, FORNITORI O CONCESSORI DI 
LICENZA CANON SIANO STATI AVVISATI DELLA POSSIBILITÀ DI TALI DANNI.

ENTRO I LIMITI STABILITI DALLA LEGGE VIGENTE, CANON, FILIALI O SOCIETÀ 
AFFILIATE, DISTRIBUTORI, FORNITORI E I CONCESSORI DI LICENZA CANON DECLINANO 
OGNI RESPONSABILITÀ DERIVANTE O RELATIVA A OGNI RIVENDICAZIONE CONNESSA AL 
SOFTWARE O AL SUO UTILIZZO.

7. DURATA

Il presente Contratto diventa effettivo alla sua accettazione ovvero a partire 
dal momento in cui viene utilizzato il Software e rimane valido fino alla 
cessazione.  È possibile recedere dal presente Contratto distruggendo il 
Software.  

Questo Accordo viene annullato anche in caso di mancato rispetto dei termini 
stipulati. Al momento della cessazione del Contratto, Canon si avvarrà dei 
propri diritti legali e l'utente dovrà distruggere il Software.  

Ciononostante, la Sezione 4 e le Sezioni da 6 a 10 restano valide anche dopo 
la cessazione dell'Accordo.

8. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS NOTICE

The Software is "commercial items," as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. 2.101 
(October 1995), consisting of "commercial computer software" as such terms are 
used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212 (September 1995).  Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 
and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4 (June 1995), all U.S. Government 
End Users shall acquire the Software with only those rights set forth herein.  
Manufacturer is Canon Inc./30-2, Shimomaruko 3-chome, Ohta-ku, Tokyo 146-8501, 
Japan.

9. DIVISIBILITÀ

Nel caso in cui una sezione di questo documento fosse ritenuta illegale da una 
corte o da un tribunale della giurisdizione competente, tale sezione deve 
essere considerata priva di valore legale per la giurisdizione di quella corte
