MOZiE v0.71 Readme
------------------

I apologize for how crummy the documentation is at the moment. If you encounter a problem, you might find the answer
somewhere below. If not, e-mail me at: mike@zeit.ca

-----------------
New In v0.71 - 'Configure' Panel improvements.

-----------------
New In v0.7 - Synchronized scrolling added.
Bug note: If scrollbars disappear at any point, just toggle the 'Scroll Synch' checkbox on and off.

-----------------
New In v0.61 - Firebird became Firefox and broke functionality in MOZiE 0.6.
Also, MOZiE no longer has external dependencies which should reduce launch time.

-----------------
New In v0.6 - IE5 & Netscape 4 Inline Viewing options added alongside the IE5.5 option. (see below: New In v0.5)

-----------------
New In v0.52 - CSS Toggle allows you to turn CSS on and off.

-----------------
New In v0.51 - Validate online documents.
Top frame will display HTML results. Bottom frame will display CSS results.

-----------------
New In v0.5
-A new feature called "IE5.5 View" allows you to see page rendering in IE5.5 assuming that you have IE6 installed
and IE5.5 standalone package downloaded (see: http://www.skyzyx.com/archives/000094.php).

Direct downloads courtesy of Ryan Parman:
http://www.skyzyx.com/downloads/ie55sp2_nt.zip (Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003)
http://www.skyzyx.com/downloads/ie55sp2_9x.zip (Windows 98, Me)

You must create a shortcut called ie55 in the MOZiE folder or map a path to the iexplore.exe file.

This feature hasn't been tested on anything but my XP box, so if it breaks,
I would very much appreciate an email: cacciottolo@rogers.com so that it can be dealt with.

I call this feature "IE5.5 View" because you can't actually use the MOZiE navigation controls on it.
To move back and forth right click and select from the context menu.

"IE5.5 View" can be handy when comparing box-model differences in Internet Explorer.
It works by opening a new window in Kiosk mode and resizing it.
I couldn't get IE5/IE4 to work in this same manner, but if you feel like experimenting... have fun!

-----------------
New In v0.46 - Minor Improvements:
-The "Apply Changes" button is hidden until actually needed. The "Browse Offline Files" feature now has a "Load" button (hidden until needed) which solves a problem I don't feel like explaining. It's not important.
-Sync Surf is now enabled by default. If you encounter problems with the "Back" and "Forward" buttons you can disable it.
-I felt like renaming the "Go+Reload" button to "Re+Load". If it's not apparent the button "Loads" and "Reloads" the current page.

-----------------
New In v0.45:
-'Browse Offline Files' allows you to do exactly that.
-Squashed an annoying horizontal scroll bar bug in the IE window.
-Simplified linking in browsers such as Firebird. See Configure.

-----------------
New In v0.41: 'Synch Surf'.
If you surf in the top window (IE), the changes will be reflected in the bottom window (MOZ).
The "Back" and "Forth" navigation now acts a bit funny because of this and so you have the option of turning the feature on or off.
I've moved IE to the top window, to make 'Synch Surf' more intuitive.

You must register the Mozilla Control in order for this application to function properly.

Registering the Mozilla Control:

If Mozilla (1.5+) is installed on your computer simply open the command prompt,
go to the folder containing "mozctlx.dll" and type "regsvr32 mozctlx.dll".

Warning: DO NOT attempt this with Firebird's mozctlx.dll -- it doesn't work.

If Mozilla (1.5+) is not installed on your computer either: download it and proceed
with the aforementioned instructions or download the Mozilla Control Installer at:
http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/MozillaControl15.exe
by Adam Lock.
