The question wether PGP or GnuPG is the best tool for you, depends on your preferences. If you just want to protect your data from unauthorizied access (passive and active attacks) easy, quick and secure, Easy3DESCrypt is the solution of choise.
But, if you think a tool can not have enough confusing options and like to spend much time to study the manual or even more money for education and consulting GnuPG is a better choise for you.
