Samba RPM Packages for SUSE Linux Enterprise and openSUSE

openSUSE Build Service naming convention
----------------------------------------

Packages from the repo named 'STABLE' include the last released Samba.org
version.

While packages from the repo named 'TESTING' might include Samba.org pre and
rc releases or snapshots.  Be extra careful with these.


How do I get a newer version, patch, or bugfix for my SUSE Linux product?

Customers of the Enterprise Server and business products are informed by mail
about security and important bug fixes for Samba.

openSUSE users can find updates at
http://download.opensuse.org/update/<SUSE-VERSION>/<ARCHITECTURE>/

The updates are available for manual download or for the software management
tools like YaST, zypper, yum, or smart.
