This build creates two main packages -one containing the full installation
of texinfo with all the utilities and the 'info' program for reading info pages.

The second package contains just the 'install-info' program which is used to add
entries for installed 'info' files to the info-dir file which is a database
with a table of contents for all installed info files. This package goes 
into the 'a' series of packages is named aaa_install-info so that it gets
installed just after the aaa_base package, so that any packages which follow
will have their 'info' pages properly installed.

If you want to display 'info' pages using some other reader besides the 'info' program,
then you can install just the install-info package.

But, if you compile and install software on your system, you'll probably want
or need the full 'texinfo' package as it contains other utilities which are used
to generate and convert 'info' files for the compiled software.
