From 309bc705f61bad6c18258aa691699ecf8d320c2c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Alex Williamson Date: Tue, 7 Dec 2010 20:51:00 -0200 Subject: [RHEL6 qemu-kvm PATCH 11/18] device-assignment: Move PCI capabilities to match physical hardware RH-Author: Alex Williamson Message-id: <20101207205100.4625.24884.stgit@s20.home> Patchwork-id: 14378 O-Subject: [RHEL6.1 qemu-kvm PATCH 11/18] device-assignment: Move PCI capabilities to match physical hardware Bugzilla: 624790 RH-Acked-by: Don Dutile RH-Acked-by: Michael S. Tsirkin RH-Acked-by: Jes Sorensen Upstream commit: a37feb7175532f8fa679e22c501170877befcded Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=624790 Brew build: http://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/brew/taskinfo?taskID=2948901 Now that common PCI code doesn't have a hangup on capabilities being contiguous, move assigned device capabilities to match their offset on physical hardware. This helps for drivers that assume a capability configuration and don't bother searching. We can also remove several calls to assigned_dev_pci_read_* because we're overlaying the capability at the same location as the initial copy we made of config space. We can therefore just use pci_get_*.
