Title: consolefonts.uci Description: console fonts + setfont Version: setfont from kbd-1.08 Author: see below Original-site: see below Copying-policy: GPL ====================================================================== Extension by: mikshaw mrblog|yahoo|com Comments: These are fonts for your linux console tty, and the setfont program with which to apply your font to the console. The fonts were taken from Suse 9, Slackware 10.1 and the terminus font package, and the setfont program is from the 'kbd' application included with most standard Linux distributions. The 'setfont.sh' script ties these parts together by allowing you to see the console font change as you skip through them, without needing to know or look for the name of the font you want to use. To choose your font: /opt/consolefonts/setfont.sh NOTE: THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT WORK IN X WINDOWS, not even in an xterminal. It is used only for the linux console, so if you spend all your time in X you probably won't find much use for it. kbd- ftp.win.tue.nl/pub/linux-local/utils/kbd/ terminus- www.is-vn.bg/hamster/jimmy-en.html slackware- www.slackware.com/ suse- www.novell.com/products/suselinux/ Change-log: Current: 2006/05/12 First release
