Description: As with JULinux 0.1.5.0 we are sticking with the Gnome environment but this time we have upgraded our base to Ubuntu 9.10 and instead of making our OS look  like a Vista XP hybrid we decided to go all out XP. We are unofficially calling this version JULinuXP as in Just Use Linux XP instead of JULinux in recognition of how much it resembles XP. This distribution is completely legal to distribute and use. We didn't copy anything from Microsoft. The user of course has the option of installing GnomeXP at his or her own discretion. There is no longer a need to download and install any of our meta packages. This time we are leaving almost everything up to the user with the exception of codecs, compression formats, PlayOnLinux, Google Chrome, and other extra functionality the user may choose not to install if he or she wishes. Our goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of every current Windows user with this release. You will also see that in this release of JULinux we proudly display our telephone numbers and other contact information where you can reach us from 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM with any questions you may have regarding our distribution. We do however frown upon using our telephone resource before using our forums, mailing list, and IRC Chat. Because our phone service is free if you abuse it you loose it.

We do not provide application specific support via telephone. We won't tell you everything there is to know about OpenOffice.org but we will tell you where you can read about it for free. What we will provide step by step support for is installing JULinux on your computer, debugging certain issues (which you might be better off asking about in our forums, mailing lists, and IRC chat. If we don't know you can also try asking in Ubuntu's IRC chat. 

Our specialty is getting Windows users converted to Linux and redirecting some of the more difficult questions to people who have the answers. 

Our telephone lines are also open to anyone in a crisis in their lives. We operate out of a Christian Youth Center so if you need support we are here. You can also find Christian resources pre-installed under accessories in the main menu.
