Apple II Kermit is a rather do-it-yourself affair. The source and documentation files are all available in the kermit/a directory of the Kermit archive as app*.*. Transfer them in text mode.

We do not have any Apple II's here to make diskettes for you, so you must either follow the directions for downloading and bootstrapping, or else obtain a diskette from an Apple II user group.

Apple II Kermit is written in a language called CROSS, a portable assembler. A CROSS assembler (written in C) that generates 6502 machine code is included.
