This package updates Vector Linux 2 XFree4.1 version to include the 
3dfx modules (tdfx_dri.so) and the neccesary Glide libs to support it. 
vd3-bansh.tgz is for the Voodoo3 and Voodoo Banshee video cards. 
voodoo4-5.tgz is for the voodoo model 4 and 5 video cards.
You need this to get hardware acceleration out of your video cards.
