Installation scripts

Please see the announcement page, file release-Quirky-6.0.htm, for installation details.

write-quirky-image-to-drive.sh

Writes to the entire drive. Intended for plug-in USB Flash "sticks" and CD-cards.
Uses Syslinux as the boot manager.

write-quirky-to-partition.sh

Installs Quirky to a partition in a hard drive. This is a conventional Linux installation.
You will still need the file 'quirky6*.img.xz', from which the files are extracted and written to the target partition.
You will use your normal boot manager, for example GRUB, to boot up Quirky, just like any other distro. The script prints out further explanation.
