Store Menu

The Store popup menu contains the following commands:

Start Data Flow creates a Data Flow starting from a Store. Such a Flow can only end at a Node.Small circles represent the position of the points. If you click on a space, the new point will be an intermediate point. A Flow can have a maximum of 30 points. To complete the Flow, click on the icon where the Flow is to end. If you want the Flow to end at a blank space, click twice at that point.If prompting is switched "on" for Flows, you are asked for the name of the Flow. If prompting is switched "off" for Flows you can add this information later, using the Alter command from the Flow pop-up menu.

Start Control Flow creates a Control Flow starting from a Store. Such a Flow can only end at a Node.Small circles represent the position of the points. Alter enables you to create or modify the name of the Store. Alter will not affect the name of the corresponding data entry.

Resize

Small. The icon is changed to the "small" size.

Medium. The icon is changed to the "medium" size.

Large. The icon is changed to the "large" size.

Shrink/Grow. Use the mouse to drag the icon to the required size.

Delete enables you to delete a Store and its Flows from the diagram. To undo the deletion, use Undo.

Edit DD enables you to create or edit the data definition of the selected Store. This command opens the Data Editor.

Show Flow Diagram enables you to see a list of the Flow Diagrams associated with a particular Store. That is, any Flow Diagrams in the current library which contain this object. From this list you can choose a related Flow Diagram for modification whilst still editing the original diagram.

Show E-R Diagrams enables you to see a list of the Entity-Relationship Diagrams associated with a particular Store. That is, any diagrams in the current library which contain data references to the selected object. From this list you can select a related Entity-Relationship Diagram for modification whilst still editing the original diagram.

Show Traceability Links to

Modular Design opens the Autotracer for the chosen component. The Autotracer automatically displays the Traceability Links from the selected object to Modular Design objects.You can alter the selections in the Autotracer if you want to display the Traceability Links for different objects. If the Autotracer was already open when you used this command then the entries in the Autotracer are updated.

Task Design opens the Autotracer for the chosen component. The Autotracer automatically displays the Traceability Links from the selected object to Task Design objects.You can alter the selections in the Autotracer if you want to display the Traceability Links for different objects. If the Autotracer was already open when you used this command then the entries in the Autotracer are updated.

GUI Design opens the Autotracer for the chosen component. The Autotracer automatically displays the Traceability Links from the selected object to GUI Design objects. You can alter the selections in the Autotracer if you want to display the Traceability Links for different objects. If the Autotracer was already open when you used this command then the entries in the Autotracer are updated.

Check enables you to validate the selected Store within the SA model or against the Information Model, based on the analyzer options. You must name the Store before you can carry out this command. To analyze the whole Requirements Model, use the Analyze command from the Requirements menu.

Within SA Check within SA enables you to validate the selected Store within the SA Model. When the analysis is complete an output window is displayed which contains a list of the errors found.

Against IM Check against IM checks whether the Store (or Store components) is defined in the Information Model as an Entity or Relationship. Note: This command applies to SA and IM integration only. When the analysis is complete an output window is displayed which contains a list of the errors found.

Annotations enables you to attach annotations to an object. The Annotation Selector is opened listing the Annotation types available for the object.
