The ircII program is a full screen, termcap based interface to Internet Relay
Chat.  It gives full access to all of the normal IRC functions, plus a variety
of additional options. You run it in a shell (Terminal or Stuart).

The tar contains a package to install ircII 4.4 on your computer. It
contains executables for all four NEXTSTEP supported architectures: m68k,
i486, hppa and sparc.

The help files are included (hence the size).

This package is not suported by me. I just compiled it to see what IRC is and
decided that I could share the result with all of you. To find out what it can
do, start "irc" and type "/help" or read the man page with "man ircII"
